Supervisors address full agenda during May 2 meeting
The Kemper County Board of Supervisors took care of routine business during their May 2 regular meeting of the board.
After dealing with several items, including declaring an emergency for the replacement of four bridges (reported in last week’s Messenger), the board then went through the three-page agenda.
At the conclusion of the meeting the board declared a work session for this past Monday, where they reportedly discussed employee salaries and economic development. Since that was a work session and not an official meeting, no binding votes could be taken.
