The Kemper County Lady Wildcats improved their volleyball record to 2-0, with a 3-1 win over Louisville.

The Lady Wildcats edged Louisville in the first set winning 25-20. Things were a lot more one-sided in the second as Kemper won 25-13.

Louisville was able to get one jab in there with a 25-23 win in the third, but Kemper ended the match just like they started with a 25-20 win.

Coach Victoria Hundley was once again proud of her team's effort to bring in the win. Rodezeah Smith dominated offensively with five aces along with seven kills. She also had four digs and three saves.

Robynn Jennings gave the Lady Wildcats three aces with two kills. She also gave her two digs and two saves. Shaquavious Jackson, R’Daisha Naylor, and Sydnee Huggin each had two aces, while Jackson gave four digs. T’Wanna McMiller recorded four saves.

The Lady Wildcats are looking to continue their current winning streak, as their next game will be against Noxapater on the road Tuesday. They will then host Philadelphia on Thursday. The Lady Wildcats hosted West Lowndes this Tuesday, however results did not meet press deadlines.
