KCHS’s Miller Plays Well In All-Star Game
On Dec. 30 two Kemper County Wildcats were a part of the Inaugural Magnolia State North-South All-Star game played at East Central Community College in Decatur.
Coach Dicenzo Miller served as running backs coach for the South team, while his son Junior Miller played for the South team. Junior Miller, who scored the first touchdown of the game, played well enough to earn the Offensive MVP award for the South Team. The North team won the game 21-17.
“It was a blessing to be a part of the game”, said Junior Miller. He said that the All-Star game contacted him, asking for film and that after he sent the film he was invited to the game. Miller has said that his recruiting is 100 percent open.
He has multiple offers from colleges all over the state and out of state. He stated that a lot of “big time” schools have been contacting him since the game, many schools that were not talking to him before.
Miller finished his senior season rushing for 1239 yards off of 127 carries for 17 touchdowns. He also caught 18 passes for 260 yards and three touchdowns.
