KCHS volleyball advances to playoffs

The Lady Wildcats closed out the regular season last week posting big wins over Scott Central and Newton, making them district runner up to the district champion Lake Hornets.

KCHS’ only two district losses were to Lake. The Lady Wildcats look to make a playoff run as they will travel to East Marion this week for the first round of playoffs.

The Lady Wildcats swept Scott Central 25-18, 25-12, 25-11 this past week led by Rodezah Smith’s nine aces. Smith also added eight kills in the win. Robynn Jennings was close behind with seven aces and two spikes. Sydnee Huggins added four aces while R’Daisha Naylor added two.

The next day the Lady Wildcats swept the Newton Lady Tigers, but no stats were reported for this game.
