KA Rams fall to Columbus Friday

The Kemper Academy Rams dropped a 38-14 decision to Columbus Christian in eight-man football Friday night.

The Rams will be home this Friday night against Calhoun Academy.

The Rams trailed 8-6 at the half. Eli Weaver scored the Rams’ touchdown on a two-yard run.

In the third quarter, Eli Miles scored on an eight-yard run. Kemper Academy trailed 22-12 at that point. The Rams’ defense came up with a safety in the fourth quarter.

Weaver had 155 yards in passing. He led the team in tackles with 15, while Brody Barfield had five tackles and Miles had four tackles.
