Eight Kemper Countians among MSU graduates
Eight Kemper Contains were among those who received degrees from Mississippi State University following the completion of the Fall semester.
They are; Deja Rona Baskin of DeKalb, BA, College of Arts & Sciences; Jake Deshun Bohannon of DeKalb, College off Business, MBA; Raquel Natoya Brown of Preston, College of Education, MS; Tonya Denise Jenkins of DeKalb, College of Arts & Sciences, BA; Danzel Cidre McCoy of Scooba, College of Education, MATX; Tracey K. Naylor of DeKalb, College of Education, MS; Katilin Paige Rigdon of Preston, College of Education, BS, Cum Laude; and Taylor Jane Vollin of Scooba, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, BS, summa Cum Laude.
Six local students made the President’s List, while another was named to the Dean’s List.
Students on the President’s List achieved a 3.80 or better grade-point average, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
Deans’ List students achieved a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
Making the President’s List were; LaDona Hampton of DeKalb, Katilin Paige Rigdon of Preston, Chantel O’Neal Stringfellow of Porterville, Ben D. VanDevender of DeKalb, Taylor Jane Vollin of Scooba, and Whitney Anna-Grace Woolery of Preston. Named to the Dean’s List was Dominique L. Scott of DeKalb.
