Dorothy Hailey

Mrs. Dorothy Hailey, 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Dorothy was born September 26, 1933, in Winston County, MS, to James Thomas and Grace Alewine Stewart. She was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Murray Hailey, Sr.; and two sons, Howard Murray "Pete" Hailey, II, and Carroll Hailey.

She is survived by a daughter, Janie Hailey (Bill) Tarlton of Preston, MS; three sisters, Eudene Shaw of Meridian, MS, Joyce Crowson of Willow Spring, NC, and Glenda (Sterling) Davis of Louisville; and five grandchildren, Thomas Murray Tarlton, William McCrory "Bo" Tarlton, Wyatt Wade Tarlton, Charlie Hailey Tarlton, and Hailey Rebekah Tarlton.

A private burial was held at Murphy Creek Cemetery in Louisville, MS.
