Volunteers search for Netherland

The Kemper County sheriff’s department is asking for the public’s help in finding an elderly woman who wandered away from her home. Family members have said she suffers from dementia.
Molly Ruth Netherland, 79, was last seen by family sitting on her porch last Thursday.
A volunteer search was held Sunday. Dogs tracked her scent down her driveway, Old Jackson Road and to south of Hwy 495
The Kemper County sheriff’s department had no updates on her whereabouts as of Tuesday morning.
