Local student qualifies to compete at world’s largest rodeo

Matt Watt, a 2020 graduate of Kemper Academy has earned a position on the Mississippi National High School rodeo team and will be traveling with fellow teammates to Guthrie, OK, July 17-23 to compete at the 72nd annual National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) in the calf roping and team roping competitions.
Matt is the son of Louis and Janice Watt of Geiger, Alabama.
