Learning science with Legos

Posted

Local youth recently participated in a summer Lego camp hosted by Kemper County Extension.

Pictured working on their projects are Lauren Walker, Camden Doss, Lynda Edwards, Zoe Mayberry and Hanna Hamilton.

The purpose of the program is to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to youth ages 5-7.

The program allows youth to be creative and engaged using their head to think mechanically, their heart to be imaginative, and their hands to create.

If you're interested in learning more about the Lego program or other 4-H programs call 601-743-2837.
