Kemper County HS HOSA Wins at State Competitions

Posted

Each year, students in Kemper County High School’s career and technical programs attend state leadership conferences and participate in state competitions. This year, during March 23 – 25, 2022, our Health Science Department had 10 students compete at HOSA's (Health Occupations Students of America) State Leadership Conference in Jackson, Mississippi.

We are proud to announce the success of our students at state competitions.

Precious Stone placed 2nd in Health Career Photography. Dere’Auna Williams placed 2nd in Researched Persuasive Writing and Speaking. Jarmiay Bennamon competed and placed in HOSA Happenings. Both Fredacious Davis and M’kya Cameron competed and placed in Occupational Health and Safety.

We are excited about having these five members of CTE’s HOSA advance to Nationals for competitions, which will be held in Nashville, Tennessee from June 21-25, 2022.
