KCHS drops pair to Nanih Waiya

The Kemper County High School baseball team played Nanih Waiya twice last week, dropping the first game 16-1 and the second game 12-0.
Nanih Waiya used and eight-run first inning and a seven-run third inning to take the first game win.
Kendetryon Backstrom blasted a homer for KCHS in the game, while Dicenzo Miller and Jakylan Bourage each had hits.
The second game saw NW use five-run innings in the first and third to take control of the game. Miller had hit and two stolen bases for the Wildcats.
KCHS was set to play Choctaw County High School twice this week, before taking on Leake Central once and East Webster twice next week.
