JULIA RICHARDSON

Graveside services for Julia Richardson were held Friday, October 9, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. from Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with Rev. Shayne Martin and Bro. Vernell Daniels officiating.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Richardson, 82, of Preston, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

She was a native of Winston County and moved to Kemper County after marrying in 1955.  She worked at Wells-Lamont Glove Factory for several years and finished her career at U. S. Motors.  Mrs. Richardson was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church in Kemper County.

Survivors include daughter Janet Triplett of Preston; sons, Kenny Richardson and Jeff Richardson of Union; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Richardson; son Randy Richardson; parents, Kenneth and Clyteele Richardson; and baby sister, Dorothy Richardson.
