HAROLD AUST

Services for Harold Joseph “Little Joe” Aust were Thursday at 11:30 am at Binnsville United Methodist Church. Brother Zac Cox officiated. Burial was in the Binnsville community cemetery.

Mr. Aust, 79, passed away Saturday, February 1st.

After attending East Mississippi Junior College, Mr. Aust joined the Mississippi National Guard and later began his construction career working in residential construction with builders in the Dekalb area before starting his own company. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and raising and selling quail. Mr. Aust was always willing to help friends and neighbors.

He is survived by brother Tomie Aust (Cathie) of Fayetteville, GA; nieces Lisa Aust Jacobson of Flowery Branch, GA, Jennifer Katherine Aust of Pulaski, TN; great nephews Joshua Ward, Benjamin Ward and Matthew Ward along with four great-great nephews and one great-great niece.

He was preceded in death by parents James and Virginia Aust.
