Easter prayer for Kemper County

Easter is a very special day in our country. Unfortunately, because of the Coronavirus, Easter sunrise services, family get-togethers, Easter egg hunts, and church services have been canceled this year.

However, individuals and families are invited to come together and pray on their knees in their homes at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday morning, April 12. We should pray for our homes and families, churches, the unemployed, truck drivers, those that are ill or concerned, those working in hospitals and other medical facilities, and for a rapid solution to this ongoing pandemic.

God bless America, and may we survive, be thankful, and move toward both physical and economic health for our country.

Let us also remember God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14. "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
