MICKEY MOUSE PHOTOS

Children can have their photos taken with Mickey Mouse on Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.. The event is set to take place 160 Hopper Avenue in DeKalb,. It is across from The Commercial Bank. There will also be snowballs. Venders are welcome. The vent is sponsored by Community First KC and Reds and Sons Detail.

HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION

The Kemper County Historical Association will hold their meeting on Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the historical museum in DeKalb. Visitors are welcome.

BLUFF SPRINGS BAPTIST CHURCH

Bluff Springs Baptist Church, Lynville Road, DeKalb, will be having Memorial services on May 15 at 11 a.m. Potluck dinner following. All donations will go toward cemetery maintenance. You can mail in your donation to Tommy Gully, 1986 Lynville Rd, DeKalb, MS 39328. Rev. Charles Davis, Pastor.

SCOOBA PLAYGROUND CELEBRATION

The official grand opening of the new playground be­hind the Scooba Town Hall has been rescheduled for Sat­urday, May 21 at 10 a.m. All are invited.

A FREE educational program is being offered to help moms-to-be learn how to make healthier choices for themselves and their baby. Mississippi Coding Academies is providing tuition-free classes to students at The Communiversity at EMCC. COALITION FOR A HEALTHY KEMPER COUNTY

BEAVER CONTROL COST-SHARE PROGRAM

Applications are now being accepted by Kemper County SWCD for the Kemper County Beaver Control Cost-Share Program. The Mississippi Soil and Water Con­servation Commission and the Kemper County Board of Supervisors have funded the program to aid in beaver control.
