Dekalb Mayor Clark Adams is being challenged by former mayor Homer Hall in the upcoming municipal elections.

Adams is running as a democrat while Hall is running as an independent.

The deadline to sign up as a candidate is Friday. As of Monday, there were no candidates for the alderman ward 2 and 4 posts.

Bessie Gail is the lone candidate for the Ward 1 alderman post. Tracey Naylor is being challenge by Samson Scott for Ward 3. And Keith Barnes is running for the Ward 5 post.

The primary elections, if needed, are April 6. The general election is set of June 8.
