CHARLINE ROBBINS LIMERICK

Graveside services for Mrs. Charline Robbins Limerick will be held Saturday at 3pm in Blackwater Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Walt Tessier and Rev. Jonathan Greer will be officiating. 

Mrs. Limerick, 92, of the Wahalak community, passed away Thursday at Rush Hospital. She was retired as the Food Service Supervisor for Kemper County School System. Mrs. Limerick also worked as a counselor for Weems Mental Health. She came to Kemper County as the Kemper County Home Economist.

Mrs. Limerick was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. She is most well remembered for her love of crochet and sewing. Mrs. Limerick was very active in Wahalak Baptist Church including Operation Shoebox and was in the Gideon Auxiliary. She was also the owner of Charline's Fabric and Fashions in Scooba. 

She is survived by her brother of 104 years old Fudriel Lionel "Pete" Robbins; her sons Mark Greer (Robin), Roger "Robby" Limerick (Sheila)and Bobby Joe "Bubba" Limerick.

Mrs. Limerick was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Otis Robbins; husband Oliver Limerick; son Garry Greer; brother Benjamin Buford Robbins and sister Modell Robbins Laconte.

Pallbearers will be Stu Bosarge, Jeremy Herndon, Pastor Steve Spining, Chad Smith and Tyler Greer. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Laird, Scotty Reed, Marvin Floyd and Micheal Greer. 

Due to Covid 19 concerns, there will be no visitation.
