Vaccination eligibility for any Mississippian 50 years of age or older was announced by Gov. Tate Reeves last week.

"We are officially expanding vaccination eligibility to anyone fifty years of age or older!" he said in a Faccebook post on Thursday morning.

The governor encouraged citizens to reach out to their local healthcare provider, hospital or pharmacy.

He also said to keep watching covidvaccine.UMC.edu for drive-through appointments statewide.
