Howard G. Spinks, 74, passed away peacefully at his home on November 9, 2020, due to complications from Parkinson's Disease. 

Graveside services for Mr. Harry Hoyt Russell were held Tuesday at 10 am in Pinecrest Cemetery in DeKalb, MS. Eulogy brought by Mr. Ronald Hegwood with special music by Rev. Chris Gully. Stephens Funeral Home of DeKalb entrusted with the arrangements.

Graveside services for Julia Richardson were held Friday, October 9, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. from Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with Rev. Shayne Martin and Bro. Vernell Daniels officiating.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Graveside services for Ruby Mae were held Sunday, May 17th, 2020 at the cemetery in Scooba, MS where she lived. Pastor Rev. James Ganger officiated and E.E. McDonald Funeral Home was in charge.

Shirley Sue Harpole was welcomed to heaven by God, her beloved husband, John and all her family and friends who’ve gone before her. 

Services for Wayne George were held Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Hollis Warren officiating.  Burial followed in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with funeral honors provided by the Mississippi Highway Patrol Honor Guard.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Dixie Briggs Bauman, age 98, passed away Friday, August 28,2020 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion Va.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Marie Vick were held Monday, September 14, 2020 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home was honored to be entrusted with arrangements. 

Graveside services for Sammye Ruth Ward, 76, were Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Pine Crest Cemetery, Dekalb, MS. Ms. Ward, a native of Kemper County, passed quietly in her sleep Wednesday morning, September 3, 2020. She was born on July 11, 1944 in Meridian, Mississippi and grew up in DeKalb, Mississippi, where her parents owned the local café and upholstery shop.
