Wildcats earn all-region football honors

Several members of the Kemper County football team have earned All 5-3A region honors for their play during the 2019 season.
Individual awards went to:
De'Onte Rush, QB #9 Offensive MVP;
Jamar Grace, WR #6 Best Wide Receiver;
Ishmael Naylor, LB #8 Best Linebacker;
Wesley Granger, DL #90 Best Defensive Back; and,
Aaron Steele, #11 Best All Purpose Back.
Ricardo Windham, Aaron McCoy, Rush, Grace, Naylor and Granger all earned all-region first team honors.
The Wildcats went 2-1 in the region and placed second, They made it to the first round of the state playoffs.
