Family graveside services will be Saturday, May 23, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. from Lynville Cemetery in Preston, MS, with Rev. Chris Gully and Rev. Randy Caldwell officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Paul J. Fulton, age 85, of Preston, passed away peacefully early Thursday, May 21, 2020. He was born December 18, 1934, to Jeff Fluellen Fulton and Stuart Irene (Baker) Fulton.

Upon graduating high school, Paul served in the WWII Army Occupation Forces in Germany and later transitioned into the U.S. Air Force to retire after an illustrious 20 year career. During his service, Paul specialized as a radar and satellite technician at USAF bases all over the world, including Japan, England, Panama, Chile, and many others. Paul was awarded The Air Force Commendation Medal three times, as well as being selected to be a Superintendent and Instructor of Electronics for the U.S. Air Force.

Upon retiring from the Air Force, Paul owned and operated Fulton's Construction for 35 years building hundreds of homes and four churches while also completing countless construction projects. Paul was a very active member of The Lynville Methodist Church and gave credit for his personal and professional success to God. Additionally, he was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge (Summerville #64), as well as the Hamasa Shriners. Most importantly, Paul was caring and generous, as well as a loving husband and father.



Survivors include wife, Shirley Le Cornu Fulton; children: Rickey (Ruth) Fulton, Teresa Fulton Ford, Calvin (Kerri) Fulton, and Andrea (David)Fulton Kelley; grandchildren, Lindsey Pitts, Crystal McConnell, Lauralee Davis, Terri Leslie, Christopher Legget, Dylan Fulton, Colton Fulton; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by wife, Linda Fulton; parents, Jeff and Stuart Fulton; sisters, Jennie McKee and Pat Creekmore.
