Jean C. Henderson

Jean C. Henderson, 60 of Caledonia, MS passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020, at her residence.

A private family memorial service will be Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 12:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home chapel with Mr. Robert B. Henderson officiating.  Services will be streamed live at www.lowndesfuneralhome.net.

Mrs. Henderson was born on October 31, 1959, to the late Calvin Ross Barefield, Jr. and Mae Carolyn Gully “Tootsie” Barefield in Kemper County, MS.  She married Robert B. Henderson on July 20, 1979, and moved to Caledonia, MS twelve years ago from Pickens County, AL.  Mrs. Henderson was presently employed at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle as an account payable clerk for the past 15 years.  She was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed needlepoint, reading, and cooking.  Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her husband of 40 years – Robert B. Henderson, Caledonia, MS; sons – Marcus Brian (Jilda) Henderson, Cullman, AL and Michael Ryan (Erin) Henderson, Chattanooga, TN; brothers – Dickie (Sharon) Barefield, Preston, MS and David (Ann) Barefield,  Preston, MS; granddaughters – Alaina West, Kallie West, and Ava Henderson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews and Staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle.
