The Kemper Academy Rams celebrated homecoming with a 54-18 victory Friday night in prep football action.

At halftime, Alannah Bozeman was crowned homecoming queen.

The victory also counted in the division standings. The Rams now stand at 2-3 overall and 1-0 in the division.

Garron Dixon led the charge with three touchdowns. Dylan Dawson ran 45 yards for a touchdown. Dylan Williamson scored two touchdowns. He recovered a fumble in the end zone for one TD and ran for the other.

Matthew Cordar went back to quarterback after Bryce Mason went down with a knee injury. Cordar scored two two-point conversions.

“It was a good victory,” KA coach Pete McCleskey said. “Matthew came in cold at quarterback after Bryce went out and I thought he did a good job. It is always fun to win at your homecoming.”

The Rams will travel to Columbus Christian this Friday night.
