Graveside services for Mavis Claire Harbour Caldwell were held Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with Rev. Lawrence Pool officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Caldwell, 87, died Saturday, August 19, 2017.

She was a native of Kemper County but had lived in Philadelphia for the past 70 years.

Survivors include her son, Randy Caldwell (Rhonda) of Dekalb; two grandchildren, Mandy Marx (Ramsey) and Josh Caldwell (Krista); four great-grandchildren, Randa Miles, Brantley Marx, Cole Caldwell and Eli Caldwell; sisters, Mary Lou Quick (Skip) of Kansas City, KS, and Connie Eldridge (Wayne) of Dekalb; two nieces; two nephews; special caregiver and friend, Kaye Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Josephine Thompson Harbour.

Pallbearers were Ramsey Marx, Josh Caldwell, Hal Harbour, Milt Harbour, Pat Blalock, Dudley Eldridge and Brantley Marx.

Services for Frances E. Johnson were held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Saint Mark Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Owens officiating. New Haven Memorial Funeral Home were in charge of the final arrangement.
