Funeral Services for Little Miss Kaylin S'Nia Carter were held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at the New Haven Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeKalb, MS with Rev. Daniel Jenkins officiating. Burial followed in Jerusalem Cemetery. New Haven Memorial Funeral Home were in charge of the final arrangements.

Kaylin S’Nia Carter was born on March 17, 2015 at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, MS to LaDaniel Jenkins and Shana Carter. She was the youngest of four siblings. Kaylin was affectionately known as Katy Mae and Lil Mama. She lived her life in DeKalb, MS with her mother-Shana Carter, brother-Christian Carter, and granny-Louise Carter.

Kaylin was baptized at the age of one at New Hope Methodist Church, DeKalb, MS by Elder Burt. She attended Meridian Pediatric Extended Care in Meridian, MS. Kaylin enjoyed going to daycare, watching talk shows with her granny and being with her family. Kaylin brought smiles to everyone she met with her sassy attitude and bright smile. Kaylin departed her life on May 18, 2018 at Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS

 Kaylin leaves to cherish her memories her parents, LaDaniel Jenkins and Shana Carter; grandparents: Louise Carter, Lester Carter, Daniel Jenkins, Jr. and Linda Jenkins; great-grandparents; Rev. Daniel Jenkins and Bertha Cameron; two brothers: Christian Carter and Zalan Jenkins; one sister: Hailey Jenkins; two aunts: Demetris Carter-Cameron and Tiffany Jenkins; and two aunt Demetris Carter-Cameron and Tiffany Jenkins; two uncles: Michael Cameron and Daniel Jenkins III; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins and godparents.
