Emmett Norris Creekmore was born in DeKalb, MS on May 4, 1926 and passed away in Gallatin, TN at Gallatin Health Center on August 6, 2017.

Emmett was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. V.M. Creekmore; his sisters Gerry Creekmore and Gloria Laudicina; his brother Marion Creekmore; and his son Robert Norris Creekmore.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie Jarvis Creekmore of 66 years; son Stanley Marion (Barbara); and his grandchildren Dr. Faith V. Creekmore and Todd P. Creekmore.

Emmett was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving in World War II. He graduated from the University of Mississippi and had a long career with the Missile School at Redstone Arsenal and the Army Corps of Engineers at the Bevil Center.

Emmett was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church—the service will be conducted by Reverend Kim Teehan at Spry Funeral Home on Friday August 18th, 2017.
